RED SEA MAX 250 with extras in Wokingham, Berkshire for sale
Purchased new in 2012, was used by first owner for 1 year, before he was hospitalized and gave up marines. I am second owner and never used this. The intent was to set it up, however a change of circumstances - house move to a new place that does not allow pets has changed that. The cabinet is in immaculate condition, no visible marks and no water damage. The tank is in good condition with no deep scratching or chips, however does have a couple of light surface scratches on the glass where it appears that the original owner must have got some sand stuck between the cleaning magnet and glass. The lights have all recently been replaced, so no need to be concerned for the next couple of months. Includes all the standard accessories with the tank with the exception of circulation pump #1. I found this is not functioning after testing, everything else works. I have seen these pumps go for £30 - £40 on Greatbritainlisted used, or can be replaced with a brand new sicce syncra 3.0 for around £60 (Amazon currently has a used very good condition sicce syncra 3.0 for £37) This has lots of extras that supplement the loss of circulation pump #1, these include: EHIEM automatic fish feeder #3581 (cost around £28 new) Extra 150w Tronic heater Salinity testers x2 RED SEA CALK (500g tub part used) Magnetic cleaner 3 x various marine test kits Red Sea Aiptasia-X part used 2 x Brand new spare carbon filter bags for bio filter Around 15.8kg RED SEA CORAL PRO SALT (these cost around £60 for a 22kg bucket) One new unused bag of filter media.
